Crafting a Universe
The Frontier began as a simple collection of heroes and villains. Over the course of two years, our team has ventured into extensive world-building, establishing a realm populated with diverse characters and complex narratives, all underpinned by rich lore. This universe was then brought to life through comics, games, and animations.
Explore the Frontierverse
The Night Ape comics bring to life world-changing events in modern Genesis City. The Catopia Arc uncovers an ancient era when Alpha powers first manifested in Gens. Our Kaika manga spins an isekai tale of students journeying into a parallel reality. These stories are all pieces of the complex tapestry that is the Frontierverse.

There's been some disappearances in Genesis City, and those who return exhibit memory loss and no Alpha. Rumor has it that even heroes aren’t safe. A perfect time for villains to arise and take over. When neither the Heroes League nor the police can solve the problem, a solitary and mysterious vigilante called Night Ape steps in, assisting law enforcement, investigating leads, and growing suspicious that there’s more to this case than meets the eye.

Some believe the CatGens were the first to manifest Alpha powers, which explains why some ancient civilizations worshiped them as gods. When their forceful dominance start to break the Frontier society, only a tiny but brave race is able to stop their tyrannical rule.

In Genesis City, destiny handpicks three youths: Chikamori, the clumsy; Colt, the brave; and Tori, the silent. Beyond fighting and flair, heroism requires courage to conquer fears and faults. As they bloom (or kaika), they grapple with their destiny. Join their journey through time and realities, in a fusion of alternate dimensions and feudal Genesis City, as they learn the essence of true heroism.
Genesis City
Genesis City is a cosmopolitan metropolis with towering skyscrapers and a bustling business district. It has world-renowned museums, theaters and concert halls. And also a mountainous area right in the middle surrounded by districts, creating a donut shape of urban areas.
Night Ape Comics
NIGHT APE is the first storyline explored on the Frontier universe, and focus on the main big event on Modern Genesis City that will change the world forever.
Kaika Manga
KAIKA is a webcomic about a journey through time and space, where alternate realities and feudal Japanese Genesis City colide, forging the next generation of heroes.
